Lying in bed all day when you’re truly tired (or truly hungover) is a beautiful thing, but lying in bed all day when you’re sick just feels icky, like swimming in a pool of germs and sweat. Moving was exactly what I wanted and needed after rising from the weekend of strep throat.

Being gentle on my body
Having sandals at hand so I did get splinters
