Let me start by saying I’m a nude sleeper. That’s right, when I close the bedroom door at night it’s all boobs and buns.
Frankly, I find sleeping in clothes suffocating and hot. I only wear clothes to bed for two occasions. First is when I have to crash at a friend’s house and am comfortable enough to share a bed with them (more like too princessy to sleep on a mere, mortal couch) but not comfortable enough to completely disrobe, because, you know, that can send some mixed messages.
“If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you it’s yours forever. If it doesn’t then it was never meant to be.” – A wise person once said about clothing!
A few weeks ago I popped into the shoe store (the same one I got my Nicole Flats from) and saw another pair of Nicole stunners. Instead of being low-riders they were a high and mighty pump that were classic but made a statement. I loved the neutral color, the shape of the opening, and the gold bar that ran across the back.
Because I’m a Pisces I’m a little bit of everything. I’m a loner; I’m a social butterfly; I’m quiet; I’m obnoxiously loud; I’m a lover; I’m a grudge holder; Etc; Etc; Some might find the duality exhausting, but I like being able to turn off one side and snuggle up to another without feeling much shame or guilt. In the words of Lady Gaga: Baby, I was born this way.
This weekend I’m dancing with my drawn in side, which actually happens quite often. But really it’s the perfect weekend to be a shut in: my roommate is visiting home and the weather is cloudy and, I imagine, a bit cold. So, not wanting to let a good “stay-in” day go to waste, I’m going to use my time inside to season my “new” cast iron.
